As a single man, w/ no kids, who's having his way in life, I feel that it is imperative and extremely vital to vote, specifically in local elections.
Don't let capitalism gaslight you into individualism
I can’t lie to yall man, as a single man with no kids who’s having his way in life for the most part, I am not incentivized to vote…I would even say taking the time to register and to go out to a poll is a waste of my time…id rather go to the gym or read up on stock options.
I'm not watching a movie about Ghana and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah(the man who wanted African Unity and INDEPENDENCE) executively produced by Obama(the man who gave the order to eliminate Gaddafi *another African leader who had similar ideologies as Nkrumah*)
Beware of propaganda⚠️
I love this Phillip Anthony Mitchell discourse. Critical thinking is not a betrayal of faith. We are SUPPOSED to question the "leaders" in our community: pastors, politicians, teachers, etc. Especially when parts of their message begin to mirror white nationalist talking points.
one thing people get wrong about some avoidants is that it’s not about being scared, you’re just asking someone to do a level of emotional labor to be in relationship with you that they don’t even do for themselves.
Let’s all remember the sage wisdom of Omar El-Akkad- “One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.”
