Corey ‘Homicide’ Williams - the New York City streetball icon, NBL legend, and vibrant broadcaster - has passed away following his battle with bowel cancer. He was 46.

It’s a truly enormous, tragic loss for the Australian basketball community. The NBL doesn’t reach the heights of what it is today without his presence, on and off the court.

@mattskinnerhawk @DamianArsenis Qld basketball lost a lot of great officials in the late 90s and early 2000s due to referee coach's who blatantly favoured officials who where not ready as they fitted a certain type of gender or look. They also did not like to be challenged when you did not agree with them.
