@EtheV77@CoachBravata@CoachSwit Also a good point. Nothing worse than keeping the starters in when the game is out of hand. Those are the opportunities to let the other kids play and get game experience because you might need them later because of an injury, etc.
@CoachBravata@EtheV77@CoachSwit ๐ฏ agree. My son was a Freshman on Varsity this year getting decent playing time and I could hear rumblings from other parents who didn't know I was his Dad. I had Zero expectations of playing time but he earned it.
@CoachBravata@EtheV77@CoachSwit I hear you. That's a good point in the money difference. I think a lot of parents don't see the difference though. If they're paying any amount, they think their kid should play, even if they're wrong.
@CoachBravata@EtheV77@CoachSwit Most High Schools in MA ask for you to pay $150-$200+ for sports. And then run fundraisers all year to help pay coaches, buy gear, etc. They can waive for lower incomes but there's just not a ton in the budget.
@upcountrywater@MarioNawfal Not at all. It was 30 years ago. 1996. People didn't just carry around big camcorders to record stuff like we do now with cellphones.
@KathleenWinche3 I used to do to the one in Nashua, NH at the Pheasant Lane Mall because CDs were $12.99 in the 90s when every other store (Tower Records, Strawberries, etc) was $17.99+!
@JeffSherbekow@CrystalHope1979 I had a Samoyed growing up. They literally prefer to be outside all the time, especially in the cold and snow. They are built for it. It almost feels cruel keeping them inside because they prefer the outdoors so much.
@umpirejimmy@John_Fanta Yup. Cs shirts are usually garbage quality with some lame phrase. I think you could get some to wear tees if it was like this. However, "Act like you've been there before" is a big reason why we're against it. And because everyone already has a tee or jersey on.
@CelticsGRD They already are for some games with the ridiculous tiered pricing! Our seats are 1st row balcony and they were $250 for the Mavs game. Insanity.
