Poiyomi, the developer behind one of the most popular shaders used in VRChat, has reportedly been hacked.

Their Discord server is currently locked, and channels have been closed while the issue is being investigated.

Until there is an official update, do not download, update, or install any Poiyomi packages.
This also includes anything available through the VRChat Creator Companion listings.

If you are a creator, it is best to pause any avatar or world updates that use Poiyomi shaders for now.

Already installed local files are believed to be safe, but avoid downloading anything new until trusted staff confirm the situation has been resolved.

This was done via a method where the scammer invites you to a Minecraft server over Discord, and sends you a (malicious) package to install via Curseforge.

They will go as far to dig through your friends list to tell you people that are playing too, to draw you in.

There's a new scam in league of legends that's been plaguing the NA servers (haven't experienced it in my main region server / EUW)
everytime you play a game a bot will add you in the middle of the game and say i was the [champion name]

After adding Poiyomi Pro to VCC, it has come to my attention that people are angry about it being a paid-for product.

This has always been the case. Poiyomi Pro has generally been one patch ahead and had a few extra shaders. Nothing has actually changed. Poiyomi toon is a free, generally more stable version that updates only when the next version is stable.
