@dalawn777@luisdocuments It’s regents week and today is the bio/living environment test. So while some students are not in school, some are required to be present for testing.
@Sense4America@lisathebeauty1 The roads suck, teachers have to crowdfund every year for supplies other classrooms and the last I checked, most fire departments have outdated equipment. Those social programs are getting cut down to fund tax breaks for those same landlords. Most landlords are corps with no face
@LRNROSE I’m putting my spare on and cutting that trash off at home. That isn’t a municipal boot. Some lot owner bought a box of 50 to police a private lot.
@Jay2three@shaneyyricch Automation and innovation are the reason manufacturing jobs are scarce. Those two factors are responsible for 87% of the jobs lost. The other 13% is due to outsourcing. Both sides of the aisle fought that fight for fair wages and labor laws
@fmanow5150@BRICSinfo@nayibbukele It may cost $40k to house an inmate but they usually produce far more than they are paid. Who do you think presses our license plates and cleans our interstates? Fights forest fires? That is prison labor. The 14th amendment made slavery illegal except for punishment for crimes.
@RuthLessAmbtion@FacesOfHaiti_ You do know the US actually collected that debt on behalf of France, right? They sent warships and soldiers took that gold by force. The bank that housed the gold bullion is now known as CitiBank. The US also created the embargo against Haiti further crippling their economy
@ErikaaLauren Part of the job. Refs take the good with the bad. If they were better at their jobs, they’d receive less talk. The call was terrible. Don’t act small because you made a crap call.
