Here’s how the scam works

- Anyone with an EBT card comes in and buys an item
- The store adjusts the price of that item to the amount of money that’s on the person’s EBT card
- The store gives the person 50 cents on the dollar for the balance on the EBT card

Meaning is you have $120 on your EBT card, you’re able to exchange it for $60 cash and the store pockets the rest of the money for doing the transaction

This is a scam that is happening nationwide. There have even been so many mainstream media stories where this has been highlighted as a common scam

The activist judge who blocked RFK Jr.'s SNAP reform just got stripped of her gavel.

The 14th Circuit placed Judge Josephine Barron on restricted duty, limiting her to warrant motions and procedural busywork while investigators dig into her finances.

"The court wants to know if she's on someone's payroll," said Chief Clerk Jon Raebro. "Activism from the bench has consequences."

Barron is the third judge this month to face disciplinary action for political interference.
