Space travel and moon bases were going to be a reality.
55 years after the dream was abandoned, we might be going back next year.
Damn Kubrick, Clarke & Jules Bergman. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.
@Muffin198906@flyers804@ScottApogee Yeah, they come in to work, upload the game to the servers, then come back to find their stuff is already in a box on their desk, as HR and security stand by to escort them out.
Day One patches? Whatever.
@TheStingisBack I love this film. I was lucky enough to see it on the WB lot at a screening with Nicholas Meyer, who regaled us with fun stories of his first film as a director. His stories of his DP, Paul Lohman were very funny. And the score with Miklós Rózsa was a real treat. See this film.
@EricLDaugh As awesome as this is, just remember, there’s a whole ground crew in support of these flights: Mechs, fuel, parts, air traffic control and more. All these men & women are on duty today and every day, so raise your glass to them as well. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
