@CorbettCopy If you use the postulate that the value of something is not determined by a population's consensus, then you can use the same argument for Gold and Silver. They are essentially worthless too.
In that case the only material things of value would be houses and food and tools.
@SookiezB@iamemreyavuz@Conflux_Network Can you predict the future ? I can't.
So who knows what will happen ;)
At this price the Expected Value just seems really high.
@real_vijay It’s funny to see the industrial utility of gold continually brought up as a reason it has value
They seem not to realise that gold was a SoV and MoE for hundreds, if not thousands of years, before many of its industrial uses became relevant
@neha The real question is what does the majority of validators think, what is their core values. I don't think such a thing could ever happen with a community such as Monero for example. Because they would not care about delisting, or compliance.
@neha I guess ,in the end, it's all about the incentives for the validators. Would it be in their interest to show that they can block any transaction ?
@muneeb Well, I'm new to crypto but when I learned about Stacks I immediatly felt it was one of the best safe haven out there. I wouldn't sleep at ease holding Doge lol.
@ErinDana Hey Erin could you tell me what's the name of the metric showing the alternating red and green regions (at the bottom) and what does it measure ?
