This demographic love to come up to the DJ booth and request dancehall yet their knowledge for that music goes as far as serani - no games and turn me on
DJs using your eyes to move the slider to the same bpm is no different to using sync. Sync saves time and makes sense. It's not a skill gap to not use it

Unfortunately Moses Itauma has sustained an injury in camp & therefore the Magnificent 7 show has been re-scheduled for March 28th.
Loool music is so cooked nowadays that DJs ain't even bothering with record pools anymore. The amount of DJs I know who have just been cancelling their subscriptions recently
@DJRTistic And the bigger reality is they donโt understand the mechanics of group think in a club/ party environment. You donโt wanna hear that new record as bad as you think do when you see no one else reacting to itโฆ.then itโd ALSO be the DJโs fault then too ๐๐
People need to realise our job is to play songs people know. new or old. This rigid culture does not allow for djs to fully express themselves. only very few events allow this
@KiuiAirica And overall, of course we wonโt play a song if we donโt think the room will rock with itโฆ.thatโs part of our job. Iโve seen and heard crowds say โwhat is this shit the DJ is playing? I donโt know itโ and stop dancing if that song doesnโt connect with em.
I agree djs should always try to incorporate new music when they can but the reality and economics of a UK night /event doesnt allow this to be done for most of the night and I would say the patrons are the main reason why
That is true and I agree but u man have more power than u realise. Be the change rather than skirting responsibility or donโt be surprised when ppl suddenly start following the next trend and leave u in the dust
