Today watched Ugarte run over the best midfield in England. Tackling, passing, carrying, press resistance, he was regularly shrugging off 2-3 players at once and finding space. Every criticism thrown at him has been completely dispelled. Hard to see a better 6 right now for us.

It’s a completely different variation of City but we had more touches in the penalty area than them on their own patch, matched them for possession, shots and shots on, had the more threatening attacks. We didn’t play inferior throughout, I’m happy with the approach. Didn’t think we had the quality to hit the plan home but Amad Diallo, Ugarte and the CBs stepped up massively second-half.
