The quickest way to destroy public trust is to tell ordinary people not to believe what they can see with their own eyes.

When a government fails to secure its borders, fails to remove dangerous offenders, fails to protect its citizens, and then lectures the public about what they are allowed to think, it isn’t solving a problem. It’s manufacturing resentment.

People are tired of being told that concern for public safety is somehow the real offense.

If a daughter is harmed, a mother has every right to be angry.

If a family is shattered, a father has every right to demand answers.

If citizens see repeated failures, they have every right to question the policies that produced them.

The public isn’t obligated to ignore reality to protect the reputation of politicians, bureaucrats, or failed ideologies. The first responsibility of government is the safety of its people. Everything else comes after that.

When leaders spend more time managing language than preventing tragedy, they shouldn’t be surprised when citizens stop listening.
