@Chris_H_Politic @StatisticUrban Yeah, like in 2010 and 2012, tea party candidates blew winnable races across the country, but plenty still won, even if it was in relatively safe seats. As long as some tea party candidates win, it can be viewed as a victory for the movement and keep the momentum up.

@StatisticUrban I don’t really think the left would care. If this is truly a “Tea Party” event, then it wouldn’t hurt them in the long run. When Mourdouck primaried Lugar and lost, or Akin lost in Missouri, the tea party still kept growing.

@MJHallenbeck @chucklemea61294 @CentristMadness I think the joke in that image, is that the baby has now become stronger. The baby is no longer coughing and so it can fight back against the hydrogen bomb.

@MJHallenbeck @chucklemea61294 @CentristMadness The joke as I understand it, is that a hydrogen bomb is incredibly strong, and a coughing baby is incredibly weak. So it’s meant to compare two things, with one of the things being way better, or stronger than the other thing.
