An Israeli Arab SHOCKS the interviewer:
"I'm an Arab Israeli. Israel is my country. I'm fighting for my country. Israel gives me freedom of religion and speech. Why would I fight Israel? I’m a proud Arab Israeli. I'll fight Hamas."
This MUST go viral.
How can you possibly support Israel?
Westerners who adopt the Palestinian cause from a place of distance and comfort struggle to understand people like me; people who come from the Arab world and have walked away from it. Some of us didn’t just walk away. We chose a side.
I am the daughter of a Lebanese mother and a Syrian father.
My mother is a child of the Lebanese Civil War—a war in which militias, backed and fueled in the name of the Palestinian cause, tore Lebanon apart. Lebanese killed Lebanese. A country was destroyed, not to save Lebanon, but to serve a broader ideological project.
My father is Syrian. I grew up watching what regimes and militias did in Syria and Lebanon while constantly hearing that all of it was Israel’s fault.
That was the story.
But it didn’t match reality.
We lived humiliation, corruption, fear. We stood for hours at checkpoints, bribed officials for basic rights, feared prisons where people disappeared. We watched regimes claim to fight for Palestine while crushing their own people without mercy.
And still, we were told to sacrifice more. For Palestine.
At our expense.
So yes, let me be clear:
Do I stand with Israel against those who destroyed our countries in the name of that cause?
Any day. Anytime.
Because I have seen what they did to us.
And when I went to Israel, I saw something I was never supposed to see: a functioning country—a society with rights, accountability, and dignity—something my own region denied us.
That doesn’t mean Israel is perfect.
It means the story I was told was incomplete—and dangerously so.
So when you ask, “How can you possibly support Israel?”
Understand this:
Some of us are not speaking from ideology.
We are speaking from experience. And no, we were not paid or manipulated. We changed our minds when we finally saw the full picture.

Dear Mr. Ambassador,
Your position that you will not maintain relations with Włodzimierz Czarzasty, who was elected by a parliamentary majority representing the majority of Poles, is simply outrageous. The times when ambassadors dictated to Poles who should hold what office in Poland are over and will never return. We want good relations with the United States, but your representatives will not choose the authorities of the Republic of Poland for us.
I have never been a fan of Włodzimierz Czarzasty, but in this matter, as a Member of Parliament, I stand firmly behind him. Your President first insulted Polish soldiers and then demands support for his dreams of receiving the Nobel Prize. The times when Nero, under threat of punishment, demanded recognition for his musical talents have been regarded as the beginning of the decline of the Roman Empire. From the Polish perspective, Donald Trump’s efforts to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, while at the same time hanging a photograph of himself with the greatest criminal of our times—Putin—are similar to Nero’s demands for awards and praise.
If you do not like the Polish authorities, please change your job. In Poland, Poles will democratically decide who holds the highest offices. Please come to terms with that. And please tell your President to apologize to Polish soldiers, and especially to the families of those of our heroes who fell while carrying out a NATO defense mission.
Yours sincerely,
Roman Giertych

Russians have just bombed a maternity hospital in Ukraine's south eastern city of Zaporizhzhia.
With rescue efforts underway, there are at least 6 people injured.
This is the nature of Russia's war.
Kyiv is in total blackout,
as are many parts of Ukraine.
No water, no heating, no electricity.
Severe frost outside.
This is the result of constant russian attacks.
Thank you to those few who still care.
It is shocking how little coverage there is of an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine due to Russia's destruction of its energy grid. It's -20C outside and half of the country experienced a total blackout today. Metro trains stopped operating in Kyiv and Kharkiv today. Rolling blackouts have been ongoing for weeks, often with no heating and running water inside people's houses. People get sick and die because of this. In the meantime, Russians laugh and call for more strikes to punish Ukraine for its unwillingness to surrender. These are strikes affecting millions of civilians amid the harshest winter in decades. These are crimes against humanity that Russia is confident it will get away with. We cannot let that happen
Russia again deliberately targeted Kyiv’s energy infrastructure. Half the city is without heat and electricity in freezing conditions. We’re on the edge of a humanitarian catastrophe.
Stop talking. Take action to stop Russia.
I’m genuinely shaken to my core by how the Trump administration is ABSOLUTELY FINE with the fact that, right in the middle of yet another round of “peace talks,” literally while delegations are sitting across from each other discussing “compromise,” Russia is launching devastating missile strikes on heating and electricity in Ukrainian cities, leaving millions of people in a humanitarian catastrophe in the middle of a freezing winter.
And there isn’t the slightest objection, condemnation, or demand to stop. Nothing. Nobody appears bothered by these mass war crimes unfolding live.
Nothing, except regular Trump outbreaks in claiming that “Zelensky doesn’t want peace.”
And it’s easy to see why: they think that every Ukrainian apartment block demolished by a Russian missile in the middle of the night, along with the people inside it, helps them “pressure Zelensky into a deal.”
It’s astonishing. Down to the darkest depths of moral collapse. I genuinely can't wrap my head around how things could end up this way in this regard.
