Tomorrow’s vote will be an extremely useful tally. Any member who votes present, votes no, or misses the vote will shoot to the top of the list to start prepping a primary against for 2028.
Might go for both parties, as Trump’s grip will have faded next cycle.
For the first time in my life, I wrote a detailed letter to my Congressman in hopes that I can get a meeting with his team about this severe problem.
While I assume nothing will come of it, we've gotta start pressing the issue for all of us. I'll continue doing everything I can!
This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about that CANNOT HAPPEN.
These companies need to reckon with the fact that people should have real, generational ownership over their digital items, or governments need to step in and ensure they get the picture.
No more of this nonsense.
Lindsey Graham is being replaced by his sister who has never held office before. Republicans' power in the Senate doesn't rely on whether Mitch McConnell has enough brain power left to function, but whether his heart remains beating. Democrats lost some key votes in 2025 because 5 of their reps died in office in the first year of Trumps term. Ruth Bader Ginsburg had a personal trainer who was tasked with keeping her alive as long as possible so she could last until the next presidential term. This is not a functional system its a gerontocracy.
More research into this and here’s my current thoughts based on what insiders have leaked combined with what I’ve found.
Xbox’s project Positron will essentially use PMSNs (Pre-recorded Media Serial Numbers) to identify every single disc and then link it to the Xbox account of the person using it. This raises further questions about how they will handle online check-ins etc. I think it will be available for every Xbox Series title and most Xbox one titles.
The PMSN is essentially an extra step to laser engrave this information onto a disc after it’s pressed.
All of the research I’ve done points to PS4 discs not having PMSNs on them (at least for most of the PS4 gen).
I can’t speak for PS5 games yet.
Basically what I’m saying is so far I don’t think PS4 games will be possible to have a disc to digital service for them like you can with Xbox One and Series games.
The umpire got hit in the nuts not once, not twice but three times in four innings. And not once did he think, maybe I should find a cup.
But the noise he made every time he got hit was the best. And I swear, I’m pretty sure someone said “he’s dead” on the very last one.
Funniest shit you’ll see today.
1. No one believes that.
2. It is. Just not in the form of mass extermination. One just be familiar with the definition of genocide.
3. No one believes that.
4. There is no “real socialism.”
5. They pay remarkably little as a percentage after various loopholes.
6. Depends on what you mean by “the” progressive moment.
7. Demonstrably true. Virtually every state that fought for the South is now reliably red.
8. No one believes that. We were all furious that he didn’t.
9. He is. Just not criminally. He was convicted civilly. Yes, the term “conviction” is not used civilly, but that’s splitting hairs.
10. He did.
@hell_line0 They could be an Organization that deals with Health matters for the World. Or maybe a Center where they work on keeping Diseases under Control. Perhaps.
Kyle Kulinski on Lindsey Graham: “This guy only brought violence to the world. This man is the lowest of the low. He literally has hundreds of thousands of innocent people’s blood on his hands. He supported every illegal war the US did. Every one of them he was leading the charge as a neocon warmonger psychopath”
Sam Neill (2025): “It’s not a happy place, America, and I wasn’t happy there. I’m interested in the condition of America now. It beggars belief what’s happening there now. When you hear a slogan like Make America Great Again, it makes a sort of weird sense because America could be great again, but at community level. Not with sort of strange billionaires making weird decisions”
