I’d go for all classes:
-I look closely at the tree
-(Perception.) You see an odd looking branch
-I try to find what it is.
-(Investigation.) You realize it’s a disguised mechanism.

@WMartovich @titanomachyRPG I’m not sure how much knowledge actually comes into play. As far as I’m concerned, the intelligence stat doesn’t factor if a PC knows something or not. Do you do routine intelligence checks?

Intelligence isn’t something you can play up in RP (I don’t know how to act smarter than I actually am) and downplaying it usually becomes offensive pretty fast (also willful stupidity isn’t exactly stupidity).
Could just be grouped with wisdom.

I won’t permanently kill a character against a player’s wishes.
