Grateful to be featured in Punch Newspapers alongside the Dankofa Foundation’s Programs Director, Christopher Oliver Lebe. But my gratitude means nothing if I don't use this platform for those who are most aftected, yet most unheard.

The Nigerian government keeps telling the world "the economy is improving." But macro growth means nothing when it masks micro decay.

The real numbers tell a different story:
Poverty capital of the world
120 million in multidimensional poverty
20 million children out of school
Insecurity that is widespread and deeply entrenched

Don't look at the cities. Go to the villages. That is where the real Nigeria lives.

And let us be honest - criticism is not betrayal. It is care.
You cannot fix a broken system if you refuse to acknowledge it is broken.

To every official who claims Nigeria is moving forward - prove it:

Fund public schools the way you fund your own children's education. Hold security commanders accountable. Stop celebrating GDP figures that mean nothing to a farmer in Benue or a graduate in Kano.
Publish where every naira goes. Transparency is not a favour - it is a right.

Real change has a face. The child who never saw a classroom. The farmer buried without justice. The mother who chose between food and medicine.

They are not statistics. They are the reason we cannot stop.
