Earlier this afternoon, there was a rollover accident on Badger Mountain Road at Milepost 5 involving a cement truck.

The road is currently open. The road will be closing at approximately 6 pm for removal of the vehicle. Removal may take up to 2 hours, please avoid the area.

#BattermanFire Fire was declared 100% contained today. Small group of personnel will patrol/monitor the fire scene through Tuesday 7/13. All road closures and evacuations have been lifted for the affected areas. This will be the final update from our office for the fire.

#BattermanFire Evacuation Level Correction Update - There have been no evacuation levels set for Indian Camp Road, as is being reported on various media sites. Douglas County Sheriff's Office will continue to post updates of all changes in evacuation levels.

#BattermanFire State Mobilization was authorized by WSP Chief John Batiste at 3:30 PM. Fire size now estimated over 1000 acres with approx. 80 homes under various evacuation level notifications. There have been no report of any injuries or structure losses at this time.
