@mightbeautistic The distinct taste memory of gross stuff my mom put on my nails so I’d stop biting til they bleed. It didn’t help, I just had to taste the gross stuff as I stimmed. The week I had to eat spaghetti every night to “get over” my aversion to it.Never quite understanding social rules
“Can you send another picture of the kitty Mom? I don’t think 8 Bit Ryan saw the other one”
I know it’s a long shot for @IAm8BitRyan to see and respond, but I always encourage my boys to try things and 8bitryan means a lot to him. 💜❤️
Told my son we absolutely couldn’t get a cat.
So meet Cookie 😂
He asked me if he could take a picture so he could share the picture on Twitter to show his favorite YouTuber @IAm8BitRyan because he knows he loves cats ❤️💜
@pwallinga In a college library, a guy kept staring at me. I smiled a cheesy over the top smile to get the interaction over with so he’d stop staring. He came over and asked why I smiled like that. I told him I don’t know, felt like it. He replied “Thanks, I really needed that” & walked away
My boys in another room:
7: Get over here & let me hit you!
9: No, you can’t hit me...Aah!! Aaaaahhhh!
7: (Evil laughter)
9: I’m gonna get you!!
I rush to break it up “Boys!..”
They look up at me with a weird look, I realize they were beating each other up on Minecraft😂
#ad My little doggo had to go the emergency hospital recently and now that she’s feeling better, I’m sharing all about how her emergency visit changed our bond and how I’m treating her now! https://t.co/5MWwg0ndFs

My son just presented me with a lovely treat he made me...
A chocolate covered tomato!
And he stood by excited to watch me eat it.
I highly appreciated the love, I did not like the chocolate covered tomato.
My son’s 3rd grade class has been reading a book together, for their final assignment is to do a “tweet style book report”. You can only do 280 characters on what they think is the best parts of the book 😂😂😂
Took my boys for a spontaneous walk, ended up chatting with each of them individually for about ten minutes apiece. We talked about alot and we talked about nothing.
It was a gentle reminder of how important one on one time is for my boys.
Curious, how many people are still wrangling their children into online learning?
We still have a week to go!
In other news, my son is receiving an award for perseverance in online learning, so apparently my wrangling strategy is working, exhausting, yet working!
