Dans son dernier 32 Thoughts, Elliotte Friedman mentionne qu'il a entendu la même chose que Pagnotta: Le #CH est venu à 2 minutes près d'acquérir Matthew Knies des Leafs à la date limite.

La transaction aurait été soumise à 15:01. Et c'était bien pour Alexander Zharovsky, 2 choix de 1er tour et un autre espoir.

Il a également mentionné que les Leafs (et leur nouveau DG) n'étaient pas enclin à revisiter cette transaction.

Le Tricolore est donc bel et bien venu à 120 secondes d'ajouter Matthew Knies à sa formation. Ça aurait été IMMENSE.
