Today’s first pitch was delivered by Brad Bawcum of the Texas Tech Fire Marshal’s office!
Thank you to Brad, his team, and all of the first responders who were called to campus to combat the fires of March 12 and ensure the safety of the Texas Tech Community.
Great read for any #radres deciding on fellowships! It dispels myths about Pediatric Radiology. Demand is increasing and compensation is above average. Feel free to reach out to any of us #pedsrad on Twitter if want to discuss our specialty! @futureradres

@JacobFlemingMD@benwhitemd Also did a TY with 4 months of surgical elective where I first assisted all day. If I was to do IR I feel like by internship experience would suit me well. IMO.. more about doing adequate research on specific program than the type of program.
Tips for new #RadRes:
✔️ Focus on basics at the beginning
✔️ Read LOTS of studies at work
✔️ Try to learn 1 new thing at work / day
✔️ Read up on 1 thing after work every day
That’s it. It’s a slow and steady process. Welcome to the best specialty!
