Q: If #CaitlinClark is leading Fever in ASTS, STLS, and BLKS, 2nd in PTS, doesn't that suggest high usage on both sides of ball? Is that normal for a PG? Or is there another explanation? Serious question, trying to learn the game better!

@txscout844 i don't pretend to be an expert, I am more a numbers guy, but I don't think numbers tell the entire story, I want to know how to reconcile what is happening w/ those numbers...too many will just take one side or other and ignore what doesn't fit their bias...i am trying to learn

I love CC and AB, and admit I'm not a basketball scholar, but when I watch games, I am perplexed at lack of rim protection. When guards are ISOd, no lane support, it fails 'eye test' for me. When watching games, AB, MO, and Kelz are not good defensively. Help me understand!

Yes, I know Kelz is not responsible for rim protection but I did include her in there b/c she has a few good defensive plays but for most part, she is lost and gets beat constantly, even though the primary discussion is CC's defense.

@cc22report @WindiRobinson1 I don't disagree with any of this, but still coaches responsibility IF talent and IQ is not there to understand complex schemes, they have to simplify the scheme to the talent they have. Not ideal, I get it, if its simple then easy to figure, if complex, players are confused!

@DayDreamThis @AnnieCostabile I don't pretend to be expert, AND I love AB! However, rim defense is atrocious! I hear so many speak of AB's excellent D, but I am confused. When other teams guards are ISO'd, there is rim help, but Fever leave lanes open, no rotation to help guards. Am I missing something?

@nonagoldin @robinlundberg Agree, i often say, when both sides are attacking you, they are cherry-picking what is said to fit their narrative. He does present a balance, but unfortunately, that is not what ppl want to see, they want #confirmationbias material!

Robin seems to be one of the more balanced out there, respectful critiques and providing full context. Doesn't fit the often seen, mutually exclusive, binary narratives dominating the TL!
