Strange times 2020.Never thought I’d be playing golf wearing a mask. Feels like being in the operating theatre all day #golfmask At least we can still get out and play, small mercy’s
Sign of the times. 3:15pm and finished my list already, usually 7:30pm finish. No anaesthetist or assistant. Urgent stuff only. Stay safe all #WALANT#PPE@OrthoSportVic
Elective surgery ended. CAT 1 only. Setting up WALANT (Wide Awake Local Anaesthetic No Tourniquet) keeps anaesthetists and staff out of theatre and reduce requirement for PPE. Everyone keen to be on board! We all need to work together and do our bit @OrthoSportVic@WalantSurgery

Bone Camp 2020 began today, introducing 60 new AOA trainees to each other, to the AOA 21 Training Program, and to a range of leaders including members of the presidential line and #AOAOWL Chair @jenny_a_green. A warm welcome to each new Trainee and a big thanks to the faculty.
Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and we are thrilled to be working with all the women pictured at our Congress.
We hope that all speakers, delegates and organisations involved in the Congress will continue to support the growth of women in our fields.
