A year ago, I told my medical residents I was done teaching them medicine.

AI can teach pharmacology and differential diagnoses better than I can.
The math of medicine has been permanently outsourced.

I teach them how to read a nervous system.

How to hold the physical weight of a cancer diagnosis in the room.

AI does the cognitive long division.
Elders hold the space.

5/ Consciousness drives culture which drives economics which drives politics. That's the biggest reason why psychedelics were outlawed 50y ago. Nixon was afraid conscious individuals would see through his Vietnam War propaganda. Consciousness threatens traditional power.
