Sunday was tough day at work,We faced a tragic accident involving five young adults, aged 22-24, all IT engineers from Odisha working in Bangalore.
A calm Sunday night turned into a race against time to save these young lives,They all suffered traumatic brain injuries and severe facial fractures with ENT bleeding.
The hardest part was deciding who to prioritize for treatment and informing the neurosurgeon for urgent intervention.
Unfortunately, two collapsed despite our efforts, and three are now in the ICU, one critically ill and one underwent surgery.
The only survivor with minor injuries was the one wearing a seatbelt.
Today, their parents travelled from across the country, from smaller cities, to find their children's lifeless bodies.
This is a reminder to drive safely, wear seat belts, and never drink and drive.
They're not just numbers!!

@volklub My trusty #Hyundai i20 (2012) nd Grand i10 (2014) have been my daily companions for years. Now I've noticed a steady decline in performance nd fuel efficiency despite regular care nd tracking. It may finally be time to let them go.Its sad i love both these cars. #e20
IF NOT US, WHO?
IF NOT NOW, WHEN !
I will be joining the CJP members in Delhi on 6th June if nothing changes by 5th June. Any self respecting Minister should resign if things go so wrong... Not to mention the effect on millions of young lives and in fact the future of India.

GBA need not have got into this conversation. Making walkable footpaths is not its mandate. That can be left to the corporations. Now has BBMP distinguished itself in this in the past. What GBA needs to do is develop a proper Master Plan. The constant intervention in the work of the corporations only reminds people that GBA is neglecting its own work as a planning body.

@acpeasttraffic@prajvalprince@DCPTrEastBCP Respected sir we the common public/citizens of Bangalore are inconvenienced by any sort of vip or vvip movement which block our right to way!! in the already chocked and pothole filled roads in our city.
Request you to prioritize our convenience.
Thank you.
A revealing chat with my fellow “anti-national Soros agents.”
Vedant and his friends are brilliant, brave young Indians who asked CBSE and the Modi government simple questions - but got insults instead of answers.
They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it.
@Nimmabhaskar22 Even as someone associated with Congress, I admit this - Bangalore is being destroyed by decades of poor planning, corruption, delays nd political blame games.
No party has truly done justice to the citizens of this city. Bengaluru deserves far better.

@prasannavishy Massive ORR corridor upgrades from Silk Board to KR Puram, but a small stretch near Agara Lake itself has taken 6+ monhts. Stop fooling commuters with endless subpar work. Finish projects on time or don’t announce them at all @GBA_office@DKShivakumar
🚨Heartbreaking Viral Video: Helpless Son Cries for His Injured Mother But Siddharthnagar DM Keeps Scrolling Reels
A shocking video from the District Magistrate’s office in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh is spreading rapidly on social media.
A distressed citizen went to the DM office pleading for help. His elderly mother was brutally attacked by monkeys in their village, suffering severe head injuries that needed multiple stitches. He had already filed written complaints with the District Forest Officer (DFO), but no action was taken.
Instead of listening with empathy, the DM was seen continuously scrolling on his phone, completely ignoring the man’s painful appeal — no eye contact, no response, no assurance.
This video has triggered massive public anger, with people calling it a clear example of administrative apathy.
Where should common citizens go when those in power don’t even listen?

New recommendation: Semaglutide (Wegovy) can now be prescribed to help protect the heart, not just to manage weight: https://t.co/BH4w1kI4So
It's for adults who've already had a heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular event and have a BMI of 27 or above.
Imagine he is the ex chief minister of delhi, on the other side you hear the two Big A’s have to give bribes too - to aapka hamara to 🪳 wala hi haal karegi na yeh country.
Have woken up to another bribe demand, shut down of our kitchen middle of the night forcibly by Police guys from Vasant Kunj - why, because we won’t pay a monthly bribe
What say @dcp_southwest - maza to bahut aata hai na tax payers ko tang karke aap logon ko
Today sharing khulasa pf what my last few months have loooked like
If I could, I would leave this country in 1 minute. Sadly family requires me here
Tired of building for Bharat in Bharat @PMOIndia
I see many food workers in OPD with illnesses nd poor hygiene, yet they continue handling food.
There are no proper health checks or fitness certificates.
Food safety needs stricter rules and enforcement.
A 7 year old child is dead. Not from disease. Not from an accident. But because he bought a golgappa from a roadside thela in Jharkhand. 18 others hospitalised.
According to the civil surgeon, food poisoning was detected.
I know small vendors are just trying to make a living. But making a living cannot come at the cost of someone else's life. If you are selling food to the public, even from a thela, even for 10 rupees a plate, you are responsible for every single life that eats it.
India has food safety laws. FSSAI exists. Licences are required even for street vendors. But nobody checks, nobody enforces, and the fines are so small they mean nothing.
And this happens. Again. And again. And again.
The punishment for selling contaminated food that kills someone should be criminal, not just a fine. Until that happens, people will keep dying, and we will keep writing the same shocked headlines every day.
Her name is Sabeena.
She is a nurse from Tamil Nadu. On July 30 2024 she arrived at the Wayanad landslide site in Kerala. Over 400 people had died. Entire villages had been swallowed. Bridges were destroyed. The Chaliyar river was raging between survivors on one side and help on the other.
The NDRF had built a zipline across the river. On the other side were people who needed immediate medical attention. People with snake bites. People with wounds. People with fever and shock.
The male rescue personnel hesitated to cross.
Sabeena did not hesitate.
She put on a raincoat. She held her first aid kit tightly against her body. She grabbed the zipline in continuous heavy rain and crossed the raging river alone.
She reached the other side and started treating patients. Snake bites. Trauma injuries. Fever. Cold. She treated 35 people that day.
The official citation given to her later read this.
As the rescue team was hesitant the courageous and committed Ms Sabeena came forward to go to the other side of the river. In spite of continuous rain by wearing a raincoat and tightly holding the first aid kit she travelled without any fear.
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin personally invited her to the state secretariat and gave her the Kalpana Chawla Award for Courage and Daring Enterprise.
She had no mandate to cross that river. No order. No special training.
She just could not watch people suffer on the other side while others waited.
35 people came home because one woman decided not to hesitate.
Her name is Sabeena.
