Just hearing the news re the #BryanKohberger plea deal. Wondering if anyone knows if it's an Alford plea of sorts or if he's actually saying he did it?

I understand that people have strong feelings about the #KarenRead verdict. The level of hatred, vitriol, and threats being made to the Jurors is simply not okay.

The path to justice for John O'Keefe will never be achieved by this type of behavior.

Plainly, in my view, the evidence does not support the charges. People think justice is a simple concept. This trial has demonstrated that it is far from it.

I have listened to the evidence and closing arguments and waited until now to form a final view.

Based on the evidence, I do not believe the Commonwealth have met their burden. I have no interest in people's personalities, whether they are likeable or who they know.

Defense case will be much shorter, perhaps a week or two.

Questioning by Mr Brennan of ARCCA witness, Dr Wolfe is spicy. Brennan is making it clear he really doesn't want these witnesses in.

Judge Cannone was hoping these witnesses would be done today, but it's not looking likely to me.

The first week of trial is done. Jury have been on their view of 34 Fairview.

Monday will be a half day for the Jury.

Judge Canone has ordered there be a voir dire of the ARCA witnesses on Friday. Judge is of the view there has been another discovery violation by the defense.

The Jury will be given the day off on Friday.

Kerry Roberts - Friend of Officer O'Keefe (Her examination will resume tomorrow)

@legalbytesmedia I agree. The way they're being played too, on their own without a witness speaking to them, they stand out. Could be quite damaging for Read.
