@noahiglerSEO Can you give an example for a "product card" for a service based business that has no products that they are actually selling? Thank you!!
This brand operates in one of the most regulated and competitive niches.
Despite that they just grew search traffic by 200%.
Use their formula for your business.
Seriously, it'll never be easier than today to make Google and ChatGPT your top sales channels.
Don't drag your feet and then try to play catch-up in 2027 when it's 10x harder.
Let’s start with the results.
Organic traffic: Up.
Top 3 keywords: Up.
AI Overview citations: Up.
ChatGPT traffic: Up.
Gemini traffic: Up.
Perplexity traffic: Up.
(If you want to see where your site stands across Google and AI search, start here:

Their visibility growth now spans product pages, category hubs and educational content.
This is a wellness brand competing against national DTC supplement companies backed by in-house SEO teams, paid media budgets and huge brand awareness.
And it is outranking them at a fraction of the cost.
Let’s get into the formula.
(If you want this done for you so that you can focus on your core business - https://t.co/zvZUfkYWT4)
Most competitors in this niche publish short blog posts and generic how-to articles that look fine in Shopify but do not rank, do not get cited and do not build credibility with AI systems.
This brand ended up doing things a bit differently.
Here is their system in case you want to apply it to your own stuff:
Step 1: Turn product pages into knowledge hubs.
Product and category pages were transformed from simple conversion pages into full resource pages.
Each page included:
A TLDR summary explaining benefits and differentiators in plain language.
Question based H2s such as:
“What are the benefits of [product]”
“How does [ingredient] support recovery”
Two to 3 sentence answers under each H2 written as complete, extractable insights.
Scannable lists and factual data points to maximize AI readability.
AI Overviews pull from pages structured like answers, not pages written like advertisements.
Step 2: Build authority with purpose.
Using SEO Stuff’s Gold Plan (https://t.co/yEFyM0Ze7W), the focus was relevance.
The strategy:
DR 50+ links only, from health, wellness and small business publications already driving organic traffic.
Contextual anchors like “natural supplements brand” and “[ingredient] based recovery formula” instead of generic filler anchors.
Entity alignment, making sure each referring domain referenced the brand and product category in context.
AI engines heavily weight entity relationships.
When those relationships are reinforced across trusted domains, AI systems begin associating your brand with the category, which triggers repeated citations.
Step 3: Strengthen brand signals.
Once authority was established, the site was optimized for structured data and brand recognition.
This included:
Creating “Reviews” and “Ingredients” pages.
Using brand forward meta descriptions such as:
“Learn why [Brand Name] is one of the most trusted [category] supplement companies for natural recovery.”
Refreshing pages regularly because Gemini favors recency within 30 to 90 days.
These changes make the site easier for AI engines to interpret, trust, and reuse as a source.
Step 4: Build internal linking clusters that pass meaning.
Traditional SEO uses internal links to pass authority.
AI search uses internal links to pass meaning.
The linking strategy:
Each product page linked to 3 to 4 ingredient or benefit focused blog posts.
Each blog post linked back to the related product or category page using intent based anchors like “natural [issue] relief supplements” or “[category] focused recovery formulas.”
This created tight topical loops that made relationships clear for both Google and AI systems.
The result was improved rankings and repeated citations inside AI responses.
Step 5: Scale with AI optimized commercial content.
Once the foundation was built with the Gold Plan, the brand scaled with the Premium Content Bundle.
This added:
60 AI optimized articles targeting “best,” “top,” and “comparison” searches.
Clean HTML and FAQs for easy extraction.
Built in TLDR summaries to increase AI citation frequency.
These pages now rank for hundreds of new commercial keywords and fuel consistent visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
The results speak for themselves.
All organic.
No ads.
Visibility increasing month after month for the most part.
If you want to replicate this system:
Turn product pages into knowledge hubs.
Add question based H2s and TLDR summaries.
Build DR 50+ backlinks aligned with your niche.
Refresh content regularly.
Interlink with intent.
Do this consistently for 30 to 90 days and you will begin appearing in Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity just like this brand did.
Or let SEO Stuff do it for you.

ChatGPT is investing $600,000 in SEO talent.
Claude is offering $320,000 for an SEO Lead.
Why are all these AI companies suddenly desperately trying to add SEO talent?
It’s about infrastructure.
And it is the same reason SEO Stuff is coming off another record month (see my pinned tweet).

This week Lavall Chichester published a piece on Search Engine Land where he broke down how ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity have tackled SEO.
(link below)
Here are some of the most interesting takeaways:
1. ChatGPT's stats:
Authority score: 99
~287,800 ranking keywords
~76.5M monthly organic visits
Claude's stats:
Authority score: 75
~36,000 keywords
Perplexity:
Authority score: 81
~184,800 keywords
Claude and Perplexity have strong brands, but brand isn't the same as indexable surface area.
ChatGPT has built:
Massive keyword coverage
Indexable user-generated artifacts
Semantic URLs
Structured use-case pages
Whereas, frankly, Claude did not.
2. ChatGPT’s robots.txt:
Multiple sitemap declarations
Granular crawler controls
Strategic indexing allowances
Claude previously didn’t even have a robots.txt file.
ChatGPT and Claude block each other’s crawlers.
Why?
Because LLM crawling is now competitive infrastructure.
Crawl access = training exposure = retrieval advantage.
Technical SEO is now about AI ingestion layers too.
3. Google says keywords in URLs are minor, but look at performance.
ChatGPT:
Uses semantic, keyword-rich URLs
Leverages user-generated titles in URLs
Reinforces entity associations structurally
Claude, meanwhile, historically used non-semantic public artifact URLs.
That matters for:
Topic classification
Embedding clarity
Entity anchoring
Link graph reinforcement
Search engines and LLM pipelines parse structure before content.
Claude seemingly left structural signals on the table.
4. Perplexity’s biggest issue appears to be optimization discipline.
Lavall specifically pointed out:
Unoptimized meta titles
Weak canonical usage
Poor image naming conventions
Indexation gaps
Non-optimized blog structures
When pages aren’t fully optimized:
They rank lower
They’re crawled less
They propagate less authority
They’re retrieved less frequently by AI systems
Claude’s blog targets professional audiences well, but its total keyword coverage is thin relative to ChatGPT.
ChatGPT built momentum through:
Massive indexable surface area
UGC scale
Brand-driven search demand
Technical consistency
5. Lavall pointed out none of these brands are fully integrating SEO + PPC.
Integrated search means:
Ranking organically
Running paid on the same terms
Occupying more SERP real estate
Lowering CPC
Increasing trust signals
As AI Overviews compress click-through rates for positions 3-6, dual visibility becomes even more critical.
This is where most companies are under-leveraged.
When it comes to AI search, AI systems inherit from search infrastructure.
Because of that they rely on:
Crawlable pages
Authority-weighted ranking systems
Structured HTML
Clear entity labeling
Consistent canonical signals
If you fail traditional SEO fundamentals,
you underperform in AI retrieval too.
SEO Stuff is all about retrieval engineering.
Gold Plan: https://t.co/yEFyM0Ze7W
Structured, snippet-first content
Question-based H2 architecture
Early classification signals
3 DR50+ authority backlinks
Technical + entity optimization
This solves:
Page-level discovery
Authority propagation
Snippet eligibility
Premium Content Bundle: https://t.co/4CAnUt07PO
60 semantic cluster articles
Category-level coverage
Internal link graph reinforcement
Freshness signaling
Embedding density expansion
This builds:
Topical authority
Indexation enthusiasm
Retrieval probability
AI citation compounding
ChatGPT is doing really well SEO-wise and is doubling down because of it.
Claude has brand strength but underbuilt structural surface area.
Perplexity produces content but leaks value through technical inefficiencies.
OpenAI is investing hundreds of thousands into SEO because:
SEO is still the discovery layer.
AI is the interface.
The companies that understand both win.
