@AngryBajur @LizzieHasAGat I considered this initially but the one problem is wax is extremely water resistant, so the benadryl wouldn’t enter the bloodstream as well. I’m gonna try acacia gum or povidone next, as those are binding agents that are also rapidly soluble

@LizzieHasAGat With your permission I’d like to develop a round based on this. Pretty much birdshot coated in benadryl. The birdshot would break the skin and evenly deposit the benadryl directly in the capillaries, causing rapid onset of hallucinations. Will ofc credit you

@LizzieHasAGat Idk why my phone didn’t record any audio, will be using a proper camera for future variations. Also experimenting with hybrid slugs that contain flechettes within the benadryl frangible slug, but a good binding agent that doesn’t affect benadryl blood solubility is being elusive

@LizzieHasAGat I finished this v1 a while back and tested it alongside a flechette round (cut finishing nails). 1st round is benadryl, second is flechettes. Benadryl penetration was good, but I’m currently experimenting with binding agents to make it act more like a frangible slug

Will probably test effectiveness of evenly coated loose shot vs essentially a frangible slug of shot held together by dried benadryl. Naturally if the “frangible slug” idea works it will also be tested for breaching applications
