@TobyTurner@mrboogie33 Sony depends on her! How could she abandon them when they are catering directly to her? Surely it has nothing to do with the disengenious replacement of longtime beloved franchises receiving backlash from the fans that built/bought them. Its obviously just the fault of men.
@capeandcowell That likely broke that kids ribs. Yeah, its not full size, but id venture those legs arent light, and that force in that kick, plus the pointed foot, probably didnt do him favors either. But, its China, so that company wont exist tomorrow but a new one with a different name will.
@NickNRickShep@TobyTurner@kulpreetvirdi Who, Sony Santa Monica? I'd have to agree. Their existence is due to Kratos and the franchise around him. Pretty dumb to take the only thing keeping you around and shit on the goodwill of those still supporting it all these years later. The vain hopes of a "new audience" are vain
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled Now, if the area isnt already serviced by multiple longstanding pool/spa companies, that would be a different story entirely, as there is actual demand and a lack of servicers meeting it, but i feel you'd be hard pressed to find an area that can host pools that doesn't have 3-4.
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled That's the issue. You only make that much per visit, and would need essentially 25-30 a week to offset costs/profit. In order to get clients, youd have to undercut the competition that is already coming in below even your cost of materials, meaning major losses just to operate.
@really_martha@DrBitcoinMD@IfindRetards Its true, unfortunately. The commitment to helping the dog was likely decided on due to the attention/clicks they could use it for, as well as the non-permanent/mild "inconvenience" it would cause in their lives. Guess their own kid didn't deserve the same chance as a dog π
@unayosimi@GoldyRiSA@NMc1566151@JohnathonWillow I'd argue life is better than being involuntarily dead But hey, keep defending the solution to your own immorality. We all know where it will bring you. If your solution to the woes of the world is to not experience the world, yours is the last opinion anyone should listen to...
@TobyTurner@jhope_2000 I still think the uglification has more to do with the team at Sony Santa Monica being upset that the character would be prettier than they were capable of achieving as trans chicks. Thats their MAIN issue, not being able to pass. So, they make characters they CAN look like.
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled Cost, as well as the prevalence/dominance from other brands. In order to make a livable route, you'd need to poach quite a few clients that already are paying less to the major competitors than what youd need to request to break even. You'd have to eat losses for years before $$$
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled Yeah, the industry, at least near me, has become pretty much entirely dominated be 3 or so large companies that offer full service, and are able to do so for a good, often better, price given years of deals with distributors/brands. The solo contractors are very rare due to cost.
@TobyTurner@kulpreetvirdi Pretty much. The guys I've known that main female characters in games where they dont have to have nearly universally admitted to just enjoying staring at their asses/boobs (and who were hopeless gooner-types). Broad of War, here, has neither, so even they wont buy it lmao.
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled If you want to compete locally, you'd need to be able to not only address cleaning/chemistry, but equipment, construction/repair, installation/delivery, etc, all of which are massive investments and require a fairly substantial staff. Thats where the real money is.
@Mike76852044524@Templarpilled Not really. You need distributors/licenses for chemicals, equipment, insurancs, and business licensing, at minimum, which would total around $5-10k for a VERY basic, solely balance/basic cleaning focused gig, with no route/clients.
@TobyTurner@kulpreetvirdi Of course, how could I forget that gaming obviously has a 50/50 spread of male/female? This will certainly work out and won't flop comparatively whatsoever as all female spin-offs have (TLoU, Uncharted, inFamous, etc). Yeah, they sell, but a lot worse. TLoU 1 sold 40m more than 2
@TobyTurner@kulpreetvirdi The only games that feature female leads that sell feature ATTRACTIVE female leads, as the only market for those characters are women, and creepy men who just like gawking at women in every form of media they consume (or are true misogynists). Not even they want some uggo.
@TobyTurner@kulpreetvirdi Surely Sony can count on the female audience to pick up the slack, right? Surely taking a franchise beloved for its male protagonist and removing said protagonist and inserting a woman into the role will sell just as well amongst women, right? Surely...
