Drug-related Good Samaritan Law failure!
Killed in the emergency department?
This makes me think of @aasewell @emkerrison study on avoidance of #ED service utilization in minoritized American areas. The article is open access and free to download here: https://t.co/C39tPmWH7i

@CJLawrenceEsq "Don't take it personal, but if you don't have anything to hide you don't have anything to worry about. Again, do you have anything illegal in the vehicle?!"
I feel you.
@CJLawrenceEsq Despite learning about your police encounter today, I am genuinely sorry to hear about the uneasy interaction. There's something wrong when one is going about their day when they get profiled for driving while Black and detained due to unreasonable suspicion. I see and hear you!
@trajectoiretnh Consider the social conditions that compel people to join gangs. Everyone who tends to comment about blacks killing blacks neglects to consider the intergenerational trauma and state-sanctioned discrimination that Blacks endured, redlining, Jim Crow, food desserts, toxic stress.

@TitansFederer@mefeater That's biased, there's no guarantees! There are many types of crimes that you seem to dismiss.
Again, the protests are about Blacks being killed by the police. You are erroneously entangling two matters. I get it, you believe in Black criminality. Enjoy,

@MrChuckD Yeah, I didn't understand the lyrics at the time but the Humpty dance was among the first songs I learned to move to. The beats and shout out to everyone to do the Humpty dance was everything.
@trajectoiretnh The artists are not what #BlackLivesMatter represent. Take individual issue with the artists or their label not the movement. There are artists from many genres that glorify violence. A campaign arose against video games for this same reason, but folks call it entertainment.
