Theoretically that would have been the advantage into the Coliseum as well. Definitely would have had more fans. Could have used Northwell as the practice facility so essentially pro level facilities for the AHL guys. Would have also been far more convenient for the team. But like I said when I see something then seems logical that isn't happening I usually assume that the reason has something to do with money. #isles

Don't understand why the #isles are changing their ECHL affiliate from Worcester to Trenton. Not sure it matters that much. But the best part of it is that the Tranton Ironhawks were once the Macon Whoopee, the greatest team name in the history of sports. That will be a throwback jersey worth having.

Thanks. I didn't know the specifics, But I had very much assumed it was definitely about money. Because it certainly wasn't about convenience. Would have been a lot easier to move the team to the coliseum or just leave them in Bridgeport in terms of getting players back and forth expeditiously. Just hope it doesn't burn them. #isles

I get that it was probably hard to get people excited about the IIHF Worlds after winning Gold, especially in the fashion we did at the Olympics this year. But was sending last year's WJC roster really the best we could do? The children aren't doing very well playing against the men from other countries. #TeamUSA #USAHockey

I mean, the AVs pick is essentially a second rounder. And I get the sense that bringing Schenn in May have been a precursor move to the departure of Anders Lee. Still, I am not sure I'll really understand why we paid that much of a price in that deal. Turns out we were better with Drouin then without him. I think he was useful despite not producing much in the box score. But I still have faith in Darche. Looking forward to seeing what the off-season brings. If nothing else our social media and exposure of the players and the behind the scenes stuff took a massive leap forward this past season. #isles
