Watching closely the unfolding developments at the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee and the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry it is quite clear that Police Minister Senzo Mchunu was caught in a brutal, systemic crossfire between warring factions and deeply entrenched cartel networks within the criminal justice system. It is sad that the court of public opinion has long found him guilty without a shred of evidence.
