Twitterverse (Xverse?)! I gave up on "X" a long time ago - but I'm starting the move to the π¦ place. Find me there, and I'll work on getting back in the habit of sharing cool adventures from our new home in Newfoundland, and my new job studying π²π³π₯ with NRCAN!

The most productive week ever is being followed up with all the best snuggles with little Danika!
@adamTford It was my day too! Not sure whether that means its time to change my starting word (such a good one!) or accept that I've had my 1/6 moment and its done forever.
@queenofpeat You should probably also correct him about the "one fire" affecting Yellowknife, too ... maybe a lesson in fire complexes? And that there are indeed separate fires threatening the city and nearby communities?
To my friends and colleagues in or from the north, I'm thinking of you all and wishing you the best in an absolutely horrific situation. Please reach out for any support, and stay safe π
The word "unprecedented" has been used a lot this week to describe the wildfire situation in the Northwest Territories. I'm not sure that the layers and layers of unprecedented reflect how completely overrun the territory is, and the emotional toll of the situation. 1/n
If you're along the routes out of the NWT with extra space for evacuees, people are looking for anywhere to be able to rest or pitch a tent. The United Way is also running a campaign to support what is a still growing crisis in the NWT right now. 9/n https://t.co/MUmVXzwgRl
Our friends and colleagues in the Northwest Territories are in trouble. Fires have displaced many NWT communities; even Yellowknife is under evacuation alert. Please help: https://t.co/2VgVL8VmvL
