Tip # 20 — Tell the story of how your brand helped someone. People want to know that you have helped others, and more importantly HOW you have helped others. Share a great story about how your product or service made life easier for a customer? (with their permission, of course)!
Tip #19 — Don't be afraid to ask your customers for #testimonials and share them. People trust #brands that other people trust, and that produce results! Have your customers write testimonials that you can use on your website or #socialmedia posts.
Tip #18 — When promoting your product or service, make sure to explain your “WHY”… your audience wants to know the person and the passion behind what you do. Some audiences especially put their money behind causes they can relate to or feel inspired by. So, tell your story!
Have a #speaking engagement or news #interview coming up? Don't be afraid to #practice at home and record yourself. It's the most humbling experience to watch yourself on #camera.

Tip# 16 -- Introduce yourself to your local news #producers and editors. Find the #health#reporter (if there is one) at your local stations and email or call them. Let them know you're available for #interviews.
Make sure your hospital’s public relations office knows your name, and that you’re interested in going on-air (if that’s true!). #publicrelations offices get calls from local and national media outlets all the time looking for #medical#experts.

As you promote your individual brand or a new product you’re launching, if you still have a day job (or are a student), remember that your institution may have rules or policies on social media and ethics. Be careful to not get yourself in trouble.
If your #brand or product is launching and someone asks, who is your niche audience? And your answer is, “It can help everyone.” That’s the wrong answer. Be very specific. Go beyond age, gender and race. Look at shopping behavior, travel habits, what they read… #somedocs
