"I, think I took a wrong turn at the planet Albuquerque. But I'm not going to stand by while people are in trouble."
"That ought to buy us some time!"
"Precious seconds in which to RUN, NOW--"
@AzathothsVessel To soften the blow, the TARDIS had generated a Stetson, which he now wore.
He hurled it at the monster's neck, with practiced precision, and braced himself for what came next.
"Yippee-ki-yay!"
The TARDIS actually has a little noise it makes when things are going from bad to screwed? And the Doctor can hear it, chiming.
Right now.
Plus she's appeared in a TARDIS in mid-flight which should be impossible?!

“You were in my dream, @Doctor_InTARDIS, as a little Pomeranian dog and you drowned. I’m very sorry about that because you were a four-times Crufts winner.”
The fact that she has just appeared inside a moving TARDIS to let him know this little factoid is a sure sign of DOOM.
@AzathothsVessel In his hand, he held an elongated fabric of reinforced reality, a one-dimensional quantum string, a theoretical framework that had taken physical form. The other end was strapped to the TARDIS console. It was his lone defence against the cosmic horror.
It looked like a lasso.
He appreciates her patience.
...on the other hand, everything was slowly rotating? Like he was caught in a giant washing machine. But the gravity remained the same, even as the floor became the ceiling.
"Now I want chips."
It was talking about potatoes?
The Doctor took a few seconds to make it through the tangles of that sentence--
"If you're up, pull it up, if you're down, push it up. If you're UP-up then push it down otherwise pull it."
"Does that make sense?"
These are precious seconds where she's not pulling the lever.
"Why do we even have that lever?!"
Well, the zero-g is useful when he wants to relax and read while floating. Adding more gravity, though? When has he ever needed more gravity?
"You can pull the lever when we land. But pull it 𝘶𝘱."
@AzathothsVessel Nevertheless, he refused to let it get the better of him. He kept talking instead.
"Right. Drummer. Can you feel it? Hear it? I suppose you've got telepathy of some kind?"
@AzathothsVessel ...suddenly intensified. There was a sound outside like being plunged into cold water, like a gelatinous mass sliding and sliming against the TARDIS walls.
Slowly, but surely, they were heading down into the Drowned Dimensions. A chill rolled down the Doctor's spine.
