@gtbank Since last year, @gtbank I complain about my money you people hold and nothing has been done about it. I have been to your UI branch on Ibadan 4 different times and nothing has been done about it.
#25,350. This is bad and your service is poor. Reasons, I stop using your bank.
@OgbeniAyoola My dad called him scam since his emergence on 2019. And it's playing out in 2026. Omo Oyo is far far behind naa only little doings for Ibadan he dey use deceive his followers.
I have been talking about how Seyi Makinde likes to incessantly borrow without result for what he's borrowing money for.
Seeing all these reports these morning isn't funny.
I alarmed about Agbowo Shopping Complex in 2019 and I was said to have been paid. His minions went after me.
For every money he's borrowed, none of those projects have been successful.
This is why I want an opposition party to win in Oyo State. Whether Sharafadeen Alli or Oriyomi Hamzat, I need them to open the can of worms.
Oyo State is being set years behind and many people do not know because he's hiding under paying teachers every month.
Crazy!
See, I'm not a politician but this is flawed. Ladoja/Akala moved us to where we have today's airport. Bigger space, a little far from traffic and not very close to residential places at the time. Development went to meet it.
Makinde, sold/lease Agbowo Shopping Complex. Came out to say it was his biggest mistake in his first term. Sold for estate development.
Makinde, sold Trans Amusement Park, a major piece of history which memories are forever ingrained in the mind of youths who are millennials in the state. That was to his cronies (turned out to be the wife of his party gubernatorial candidate and successor). For estate development.
The land behind Alalubosa GRA facing the rail line at Iyaganku, SOLD! For estate development.
A huge portion of Agodi Gardens, sold to his cronies for estate development.
Market places, SOLD!
Shasha Market became heavily state commercialized after the riots and couldn't be restored to its former glory.
I can't even start to list state properties that's been sold for estate development by Seyi Makinde's government.
But yeah, he's the best after Amala and Ewédú.
@ifedayo_johnson That's what I love about my people, if dem know the truth dem no go tell you naa your money them wan collect and this Elon payout. @ifedayo_johnson enjoy it while it last.
@_AsiwajuLerry Lerry just shut up. @_AsiwajuLerry
Have you been outside Ibadan, travel to the remaining town that made up Oyo State. Even Ibadan, nothing to write home about.
MEET ALAGBE HEZEKIAH, THE OGBOMOSO-BORN HERO DRIVER WHO RISKED IT ALL TO SAVE IWO.
Courage has a new name in Osun State, Alagbe Hezekiah, a 38-year-old tanker driver and proud indigene of Ogbomoso.
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, what could have been a catastrophic national tragedy was averted by his singular act of bravery at Feesu Junction, along the Iwo-Ibadan Expressway, opposite Lado Filling Station in Iwo, Osun State.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hezekiah had gone to supply fuel at a filling station in Iwo. The hose had already been connected to offload the content, a diesel-laden tanker, when fire suddenly erupted from the truck. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
According to him, he and his motor boy immediately tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, but the inferno was beyond the control of the extinguisher and was spreading fast toward the filling station, nearby shops, and residential buildings. His apprentice fled the scene in panic.
At that moment, with fear in his heart, Hezekiah made a decision that only a true hero could make.
THE DARING DECISION
Instead of running for his own life, he jumped into the burning tanker and drove it out of the filling station, away from the crowd, away from the fuel pumps, away from lives and properties.
“I thought of what I can do to avert putting lives of many and properties at risk. I drove the vehicle out of the petrol station.
I scanned the area for where there are no people living. I decided to drive to a riverbank where there will be no casualties,” he recounted.
“I took the bold step with the conviction that I may survive or be consumed and die with the incident.
However, sacrificing my life to save properties and other people’s lives would be better than risking others with the incident.”
He drove the flaming tanker through the road, with fire engulfing the back, until he got to a safe, uninhabited riverbank area where he then detached the head of the truck from the burning tank, preventing the fire from spreading further.
Eyewitnesses at Odo-Ori Market said if he had not acted that fast, the entire Feesu Junction, which is surrounded by filling stations, businesses, and homes would have gone up in flames. No life was lost.
WHO IS HE ?
Alagbe Hezekiah is not a new driver. He has been driving tankers since 2004 , over 22 years of experience but he said he had never encountered a situation like this before.
He has since been hailed across Nigeria as “The Best Driver of the Year” and a true definition of courage, selflessness, and professionalism.
He has also used the opportunity to appeal to the Oyo and Osun State Governments to fix deplorable roads and to advise fellow tanker drivers to always put safety and human life first.
Ogbomoso has produced a hero. Osun has witnessed a savior. Nigeria has seen a brave man who chose to risk his own life so that hundreds of others could live.
God bless Alagbe Hezekiah
Ogbomoso-born, Nigeria’s hero!
