@stopapartheidnz @BrashHide539 What an excellent and conciliatory speech! I felt sorry for the oafish booing and heckling from, I assume, Australians of European origin - all completely unnecessary. The speaker is to be congratulated for continuing his speech without descending into the same type of abuse.

@BrashHide539 Yes, part of the ANZAC Day service was in Maori, which is an official language in our country. Maori servicemen were treated poorly at the end of both wars, so a greater inclusion of their language now, goes some way to redress this. It takes nothing away from Pakeha serviceman.
