Another semester teaching on the Johns Hopkins campus in DC. Yesterday’s US News rankings had us at 9th in National University rankings.
That’s a dream come true
Got my gear ready to campaign outside polling centers for my friend Evan Glass.
Evan is pictured with our Congressman Jamie Raskin. Funny note, full circle. When I worked for MBN as the show runner of Inside Washington, both Evan and Jamie were guests on the show over the years.
Using #AI to tape a show pilot about the impact of #AI. Once we’re through post we’ll start looking for sponsors and distribution partners. Amazing how much can be done with so few people, more on camera than behind the scenes
Jan 20, a day for new beginnings. Today I start teaching in the Graduate School at Johns Hopkins University.
I couldn’t feel more blessed. I wish my mother and father were alive to see this milestone.

Rehearsal of Italian language opening for our new show, Global Vision. Guests are booked. Cameras and lights are in place. Links work. Graphics to make and install is on the punch list. One week to pilot taping.
Piloting a new show about AI policy that we hope to sell to sponsors and then distribute nationally. I had Perplexity design the monitor graphic for over the host's right shoulder. I like it. Admittedly, it looks like the Capitol Dome was moved to Brooklyn, NY
Setting up our small ground floor studio at 15th and H near the White House in Washington, DC. AKA, when TV pros/friends become business partners in a startup.
The hope is to make and sell shows from this space. Anyone ready to host a show or podcast?!? Reach out.
My book was published this morning, celebrating by working on next book a two volume text on producing. From the pitch meeting to analytics measurement (PM to AM) I'm 600 pages into the first draft. And its the first day of the new school year, my 46th!
