Sounds like youโre โbeing a good personโ for the wrong reasons. When you stop doing good things and paying attention to what reactions you get in return, it doesnโt matter anymore. If doing good is just who you are, itโs simple. Donโt let bad people change your good.
idk man, in my experience always trying to do good by people, always being considerate, taking the high road and being the bigger person, itโs always come back to bite me in the ass, being taken for granted & taken advantage of
@CreaminDemonn Agree to disagree! I donโt think there will ever be anything beneficial in transactional kindness regardless of the reasoning. But everyone has choices of course.
@CreaminDemonn No oneโs lying to themselves. I will always be kind and good, in general. Because itโs who I am. Whether itโs reciprocal or not. Because how people treat me
doesnโt change who I am โ which was my entire point. Why allow how others are to change how you are
@CreaminDemonn The OP you responded to said โIโll never stop being a good person, Iโll just change who Iโm good toโ
So yes, it was just about being a kind & a good person. It literally addresses specifically picking who you are good to. I also ended with not letting bad people change your good
SSRIs are safe, effective, and save lives. More importantly, RFK Jr. has no medical background, could probably use a psych eval himself, and needs to GTFO of people's medical decisions.
Oops. Forgot it was โnurses weekโ and started a fight with a nurse first hour of my shift.
To be fair she was eavesdropping and my conversation was none of her business ๐โโ๏ธ
