A Trump International Hotel and Tower planned for the Gold Coast is set to become Australia’s tallest building before the end of the decade.

Queensland developer Altus Property Group has announced it has signed a hotel management agreement with the Trump Organisation to build a 91-storey hotel and residential tower in the tourist hotspot.

The 6-star resort, overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Surfers Paradise Beach, is set to include 285 luxury hotel rooms and 270 residential apartments, which are likely to start at $5 million.
