Amber started #DofE with a severe lack of confidence and a voluntary mute. Through #DofE, she was able to rebuild her confidence and connect with her classmates and regain the ability to speak publically. Read her inspiring story here
DofE is achievable by any young person who chooses to take up the challenge. Emily fell pregnant at 16 and left school with very few qualifications. She went on to achieve her Gold Award and was part of the first young mum group to take their children on expedition
