Empathy needs responsibility to balance it out for a society to be successful. Without responsibility your children would stay at home and live with their mother forever. Union people vote for Democrats because they create jobs by using taxpayer money to build worthless buildings and projects. That keeps the union folks busy working and making $. The homeless and the drug addicts love the Democrats. Because they use our tax money to give them food, drugs and subsidized housing. Celebrities love the Democrats because they make them feel virtuous. Because Democrats use your tax $ (not their own 4) to spend on issues that these celebrites think are necessary and will help those who can't help themselves. The truth is those tax $ don't seem to help very many. Instead they fuel corrupt nonprofits that spend that $ and come back every year to ask for more. The people at the top of these NGOs make a LOT of money. But those that they are supposed to help get very little.
