Journalling life with my best friend. Posts focusing on getaways, good food, health & fitness, as well as chronic illness, and the power of positive psychology.
Vet appt went well; her blood tests were "excellent" for her age. I don't really like how much they talk about the end tho - "quality of life" and stuff, because legs.
No, I'll carry her wherever she wants to go. Not let her notice bad days, even if I have to play tug for hours.

Happy full moon!
After a few months without a steak, and a few more with terrible results (air fryer woes), this one turned out perfectly.
I cooked it to a lower temp, ~55C over 70 mins, then seared. It reached 58, but I seared again, then rest for a few mins. π₯

Somebody inhaled water again.
Doc said she's fine, though good to call in as a precaution.
I expected as much. I've been watching her like a hawk for three days since it happened.
Silly Doggo.
@NeleHelena Even a change in diet can be debilitating, but new specialists don't hesitate to tell you to just do it, try it, see what happens... Yep, exactly what I thought would happen.
@insta360 Haven't ingested the footage yet, but yeah!
Hoping I got some good shots, but an insta360 makes capturing the day the easiest it can be, so I'm sure I did.

Had an internet repeater set up for the neighbours. Just a temporary, overnight box while the guys go and work out the gear at their properties. Should be installed properly tomorrow. I did an all nighter, then they turned up... now I've been awake 24 hours. π₯±

After a few attempts spanning a week, finally got the tractor running. The electronics were full of water and the battery was dead.
Troubleshot the computer for 3.5 hours the other night. It's been a problem solving week.
And got decent firewood for a change.

She's quite a bit better after her zydax injection. Leaps out of bed, refuses to stay home.
Physio says let her come as often as she wants; walking on flat ground is good for her, even if we have to take regular breaks.
