Junior Category - Presentation Castleisland, Co. Kerry. Our product is dual dog lead. It is made from recycled leather belts and has two pouch attachments.

Our county final display consists of our products, our 2 dog mascots, a table with all our raw materials to make our product.

🏐County Final Display🏐 Our stand consists of a GIANT styrofoam football boot, 2 wooden goal posts with recycled red onion bags as nets and our product. More details of our County Final setup, costumes and brand ambassador on our FB & Insta @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

Our finished product! It took 12 production steps to get to the finished product! Sales before school closures were really taken off! Orders still be taken! Check back in tomorrow to see what our County Final display would have looked like! @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

10) We measured the sizes for our 2 pouches - for empty & full doggie bags.
11) A 'Stitch-in-Time' in Tralee manufactured our zipped pouches from recycled material that we supplied to them.
12) Finally, we glued on our 2 pouches. @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

7) We created a hole at the end of each of the belts and inserted eyelets.
8) We inserted 2 metal clips into the holes using a keyring.
9) We sent the belts to a local tailor to get padding & material sown around the hand at the top - ‘The White Button’. @StudentEntProg @KerrySEP

4) Widen the punched holes.
5) Insert 6mm silver fabric eyelets, to give the belts a sleek design.
6) Stick self-adhesive velcro strips along the inside of both belts, so it can transform from two leads into one.

Production steps:
1) Collect used leather belts from friends & family members
2) Cut off the buckles
3) Super glue two belts, over lapping at the top, to form the shape of a handle.

Our finished product 🐶 our double dog leads with two pouch attachments, for used and unused doggie bags. All made from recycled leather belts and material! Making dog walking and cleaning up after your dog a walk in the park 🐶 @StudentEntProg @KerrySEP @PresCisland

Unfortunately I can't bring a real horse to display my product....so I'm going to make a full size horse instead, using a pommel horse, a neck made from recycled styrofoam, a horse mask along with my own gear! @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland #KerrySEA #studententerprise

Our finished display model! Just completed before school closures. Our giant styrofoam boot, is sealed with tape. The giant version of our product, a 4-quadrant, colour-coded Gaelic Football boot skin is made from a reused table cloth. @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland
