@FC_Domme91@xavizenberserk Since ur the one saying adjust for inflation…doesn’t that make YOU the monkey in this meme? 😂
Inflation or not MoS still made more either way Lol
@FC_Domme91@xavizenberserk Superman’25 took 43 days to reach 600mil. MoS crossed 600mil in it’s 3rd week, 19 days (June 14 - July 2) and made more than Superman’25 in less than a month. Like I said…Superman’25 was never going to catch MoS in the box office
@FC_Domme91@xavizenberserk Superman’25 was pulled from theaters bc it wasn’t making any more money…it was never going to catch MOS. MoS made 500mil by week 2 in theaters and hit 600mil by week 3. There’s old articles from 2013 that prove this. MoS made more B.O. in 1 month than Superman’25 did in total
@FC_Domme91@xavizenberserk MoS made $160 million in brand deals before it’s release, made $42.7 million in box office (rough estimate by Deadline) and made $120 million in home video sales. Plus we don’t even know what it made off merch. This meme isn’t the flex u think it is Lol
@LantensMight@xavizenberserk Superman’25 lost money theatrically, and didn’t start turning a profit until VOD. And 100 mil for home video is pretty normal….both MoS and BvS made more from home video. MoS made profit in theaters (42.7 mil estimated by Deadline) plus made over 120 mil from Blu-ray/DVD.
@FC_Domme91@xavizenberserk Forbes reports Superman’25 lost 42mil in theaters. 125mil was the projected profit across all streams of revenue (box office, vod, merch, brand deals)..and ur comparing that to MoS’ box office ONLY. That’s not an apples to apples comparison. MoS made 120mil in video sales alone
@LantensMight@xavizenberserk Forbes Reported Superman’25 lost 42 million in the box office, and It didn’t start turning a profit until VOD. MoS was profitable in the box office, and made 120 million in Blu-ray/DVD sales
