@depot_pets My girl Shadow. She was my childhood dog. This photo is from 1978. I think of her every day, and there are many times I am still moved to tears thinking about her.
My greatest wish is to see her one day on the other side of the rainbow bridge. π π

@Morgan_C_Ross Strange Brew had its premiere on August 19, 1983. It was also the Grand Opening of the West Mall 5 Cinemas at West Edmonton Mall.

@Kin83060King@RetroMoviesDB And prior to that, the lead army men. Fun for kids of all ages! Except for the troubling side-effects:
High blood pressure
Joint/muscle pain
Memory impairment
Headache
Abdominal pain
Mood disorders
Reduced sperm count/abnormal sperm. π―
@RetroMoviesDB Man, this brings me back to my childhood. Playing with green army men, and my mom reading my favorites from the "Green Man" children's books.
You brought a tear to my eye!

@loudmuch@oldhockeycards I didn't understand your "getting Wayne in the off-season" bit, and no mention it was a FOX NHL promo. That's why I needed to Google it. But thanks anyway.

@oldcanadaseries That's not Rick Moranis, that's the legendary Gerry Todd of the classic Gerry Todd Show on SCTV.
It was one of the best television networks of the 1980s until the President and owner, Guy Caballero, ran it into the ground. He was very self-serving and corrupt. Sad.
