A lovely write up by Aid for Japan. Take your time to read this and the speech Rimika Solloway made about Aid for Japan, which is transcribed in the link. £6,768 raised in total over the weekend.

We would like to say a big thanks to everyone who attended over the past 13 years. You have raised over £50k for charity & contributed to the festival over those years. So give yourselves a big cheer & don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.

Still a few tees left to be sold of the official Doki Doki t-shirt by Genki Gear, the sales so far have raised £710 for @Aid_For_Japan. The tee remains on sale on the website and all future profits will go to the charity.

It’s @DokiDokiFest this weekend! Come and join in the stamp rally to win a fox themed sticker sheet 🦊 I’ll be on the artists panel at 1pm and I’ll also be doing a talk on how I started my business and keep it eco friendly 🌱 It’s the last Doki Doki so definitely don’t miss it✨
There will be a photodump on Facebook later, but the volunteers from Sunday have given permission to put up this great group photo taken at the end of the festival day. Thanks to this lot for making the entrance doors run so smoothly ❤️

I’ll be launching the next zine in my series of cryptid pocket guides "The Kitsune" this weekend at @DokiDokiFest! This little book explores the lives of these magical foxes from Japanese folklore, as they grow from a cheeky red trickster into a majestic nine-tailed creature 🦊🌸
Entrance doors at the venue open at 1000 for ticket holders to wait in the catering area before the festival starts at 1100. This will allow you time to get to those first planned talks, panels and film screenings.

Last minute changes, unfortunately Angela Davies can no longer attend on Sunday. She has managed to find an alternative. Joni Longden from the JETAA, who will be tabling at our event, will talk about the JET program and Living in Japan.
