@BillAckman@AlexBerenson This just shows that even the smartest and richest people can become sycophants. There’s some version of you in the past that would be embarrassed by this.

In 2009 multiple very successful business owners took their lives because they felt hopeless

This is a lie.

@gmoney101_nft@Kung_Fu_Cthulhu@EmpireCityBO Also, strikes aside, they dodge paying US union crew rates which are way higher. They're even doing this on reality shows now including outsourcing post-production. Now the producer can be in the US while editors are overseas.
@Shaun944 @AbandonedLizard@slack2thefuture@discord12395 If there are two things I’m sure of it’s that 1) you won’t get absolutely everything you asked for and 2) writing won’t cease to exist as a career because of any compromises you make.
@bourbonbuddy1 Bulls will be buying this dip all the way down over the next few months just like bears shorted it all the way up. Everyone will think "surely this must be it". That's how we got from 3500 to 4600.
@EmpireCityBO@WGAWest The one thing the WGA could never be honest about with their membership is that half of them need to quit the business, but no doubt leadership always understood that. The strike is going to do a lot of the the heavily lifting to thin the herd by decimating people's finances.
@EmpireCityBO@WGAWest@sagaftra This was always the solution to the problem, not the strike. Ironically, the strike will make things better for the successful writers and drive the writers who have been struggling more out of the business for good. Even though they've said this strike is about the "little guy."
