Across most European countries:

- Your primary education, healthcare is free (& quality).
- Even higher education is subsidized.
- You also don't need to put air-purifiers.
- In case you get fired, there are unemployment benefits.
- So basically high taxes fund: education, healthcare and unemployment uncertainty.

For a salaried Indian in the top bracket, the marginal rate plus cess and surcharge is close to European levels.

On top of that, you pay separately for private school, private hospitals, health insurance, air purifiers, water filters and power backup.

So basically you're paying twice.

गोली के घाव भर जाएंगे - पर जो डर इन बच्चों के भीतर बैठ गया है, उसका इलाज किस अस्पताल में होता है?

प्रधानमंत्री जी, मुख्यमंत्री जी - इनकी टूटी हड्डी तो जुड़ जाएगी। क्या इनका टूटा हुआ सपना आप लौटा सकते हैं?

A government's job is to do drama.
And, win elections.

Incompetent fools consider politicians their idols.
And, keep defending them.

Such morons have pushed our country at least 20 years back now.

All they get in return is Somalia like infra.
And, UK like high taxes.

Improve while you can.
Each passing day inflation > eat your wage growth.

The only hope hardworking folks got now is:-

1) Be relentless in scouting opportunities.
2) Try to build your own income streams.
3) Learn everything about money as much as possible.

You can do all this, if you change your focus.
Stop getting sucked into politics.

Spend 9.5/10 units of your energy improving your life.
Rather than worrying about the state of the nation.
