@RockyTSST@AdamMancini4@RockyTSST I watched it playing out live. The sell was not a knife down, it was more of a controlled, grinding down. And the move back up was not energetic.
I guess this was one of those "if you are desperate to trade, one can bid at..." scenario
@PharmD_KS Money in the bank beats time in the bank.
Wait a minute, it was a bit different
Time in the market beats money in the bank?
No Pharm beats timing the market?
@JackRFrankII@OnTheHooch@AdamMancini4 Isn't it nice? The whole system is designed brilliantly. Second trade is only allowed if the first is a loss. Means you were a bit early, but if it keeps knifing down, chances the bounce will be even stronger.
@hovsincett@AdamMancini4 we don't long the first touch of the level. check the type 1 and 2 of the acceptance examples. also this doesn't look like a NAP.
To me, the correct entry was at 6:35 and a better one at 7:40
@AdamMancini4 Adam and his crystal ball in action again! The bearish scenario from the NL is playing to the tick.
ES put on a weak support shelf at 7535 for an hour and once the level is lost, we started to knife down!
incredible precision, as always
@thebraithwaits@StephenJ223624@AdamMancini4 I have nothing to add to Stephen's answer. But I'll address your follow up question. You will never have 100% winrate. Just stick with good risk management rules, the winners will take care of the small losses in time
@smith_john41347@AdamMancini4 if you are new to trading, just remember this: making money out of bad execution is the worst thing that can happen to you.
practice good execution, money will come later
@StephenJ223624@AdamMancini4 Stephen, I am OK with not taking a trade today but now I checked and PDL is only 0.6% away from where we are right now. So I'd say it's still on the cards
@NorthoverDaniel@AdamMancini4 Thanks for the clarification. ES seems to be holding for now. I wouldn't expect another knife down scenario on a short week, right before the long holidays. But would love to grab a FBD from the 7512 ATM machine
@AdamMancini4 Hi Adam, this 7523, the overnight low, was not a level on the NL but is still an important level. Would you consider the recovery a valid entry as non acceptance protocol?
@AdamMancini4 Trap and recovery of the overnight lows. It was as easy as taking candy from a child! As always, extremely precise levels and instructions in the NL, thanks a lot for teaching us how to fish
@DeElWatkins@MakeStockMoneyX@AdamMancini4 Yes, sometimes it's very clean, like the latest 7437 FBD. Today the bounce was very fast. One of Adam's rules is "if you rush, you lose" I guess I was a bit too slow
@kevinc2114@AdamMancini4 Kevin, check the methodology. He writes that 15 points is the max SL distance he will take. But maybe that needs to change as the methodology was written a few years ago when SPX was around 4-5 k
