Big loss for Wolf Pack baseball. Nevada managed to keep him once, but Big Sexy has a big future and is a name to keep an eye on come MLB Draft time in a few years.

For the second year in a row, Nevada was one of the first four out of the NCAA Tournament. Nevada finished with a 39-20 overall record and ranked 48th in RPI.
Nevada started this game with a 9-0 lead. It took two extra innings to decide a winner, & on its own turf, Nevada falls and GCU is crowned champion in its first season in the Mountain West.
NEWS: Portland State transfer Keyon Kensie Jr. has committed to Nevada, he told @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-8 guard began his career at San Diego before playing this season at Portland State. He averaged 10.9PPG, 6.9RPG, 1.1APG and 1.3SPG in 2025-26.
Vaughn Weems is staying with the Wolf Pack for his senior season. He averaged 10.1 pts and 4.2 rebs, with multiple 15+ games to end the year. Huge for the program.
